Hydraulic filter breathers are small devices installed on hydraulic reservoirs or tanks to control the air that moves in and out as fluid levels change. When a system heats up, cools down, or operates, air is exchanged with the outside environment—and without protection, that air can carry dust, moisture, and other contaminants into the fluid.
